An inexpensive summertime punch which is easy to make. Use fresh pineapple if available though can pineapple will do. Don't add sherry if non-alcoholic punch if preferred. Serve only for twelve, great for small party. Add the dry ginger ale just before serving for greater taste.
375ml dry sherry
1 ripe pineapple
300ml orange juice
300ml apple juice
1 cup cold black tea
500ml dry ginger ale
2 passionfruit
lemon slices
cucumber slices
Peel pineapple, remove core, cut into small pieces and place in serving bowl. Pour over sherry, cover and stand for 30 minutes. Add orange juice, apple juice and tea, stir to mix.
To serve, pour over dry ginger ale, add passionfruit pulp and lemon and cucumber slices.
