60ml light rum
30ml dark rum
15ml curacao
15ml amaretto ( a almond flavoured liqueur)
15ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
fresh pineapple slice
fresh lime slice
cherry
fresh mint
Place ice, rums, curacao, ameretto, lemon juice and sugar syrup in shaker, mixed well. Place extra ice in serving glass and strain Mai Tai into glass and garnish with pineapple, lime cherry and mint. Ready to serve.
Tips
If Amaretto is unavailable use curacap or another orange-flavoured liquerur.
