2 teabags of ordinary black tea
1 litre cold water
1 lemon, sliced
1/2 cup castor sugar
Mint leaves
sugar syrup
Method:
- Make a large cup of strong tea with the 2 teabags,. Leaves it to infuse for 10 mins.
- Combine tea with Castor sugar and stir until sugar dissolved.
- Add lemon slices and crush it a little using a spoon to release some of the juice.
- Add mint leaves and ice.
- To serve, offer some sugar syrup on the side for those who like their tea sweeter.
